5/9/2014 - Hydroelectric Services RFP

The Town of Canton, Connecticut, has issued a RFP for the development of two previously licensed hydroelectric sites; the Upper and Lower Collinsville Dams located on the Farmington River located on the Farmington River in, and downstream of, Collinsville, Connecticut.  The Town seeks developers that will pursue the redevelopment of the Upper Collinsville Dam, and possibly the Lower Collinsville Dam at the same time, from the pre-development application process through construction, financing and operation.  The Town of Canton currently holds a preliminary permit covering both sites, FERC Project NO. 13273
